Our Working at Heights Training Program in Kingston is fully compliant with the latest Ontario regulations. This course equips workers with the essential knowledge needed to safely operate equipment at heights.
Upon successful completion, participants will be able to identify fall hazards and implement appropriate safety measures. The course's primary goal is to ensure that workers understand their rights and responsibilities when working at heights, work safely in compliance with regulations, and are proficient in selecting, inspecting, and using industry-standard personal fall arrest equipment, such as harnesses and lanyards.

Regulations, enforcement, and penalties
Fall Protection System Training:
Recognizing and eliminating fall hazards
Working alone safely
The Hierarchy of Control Measures
Regulations for fall prevention
Conducting workplace inspections
Fall Prevention:
Use of guardrails, protective covers, warning barriers, and travel restraint systems
Understanding fall prevention systems and personal protective equipment
Selecting, inspecting, and setting up fall protection equipment and anchor points
Emergency rescue procedures and dealing with suspension trauma
Ladders and Access Equipment:
Safe use of ladders, scaffolds, powered elevating work platforms, and suspended access equipment
Workplace-specific training
Certification:
After completing the 8-hour training session, participants will receive a certificate approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). Our Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development (MLITSD) Approved Training Provider ID is PRO-34854, and our Program ID for Working at Heights is WAH-34854.
